Our publishing pathways are tailored to your specific needs and budget. We believe authors should have more than one option, more control over their work, and the opportunity to choose a path that aligns with their goals, whether that means self-publishing support, collaborative partnership, or full-scale investment in their manuscript.
Traditional
Our highly-selective traditional publishing pathway is for authors we are committed to investing in, who are well established in their writing careers or show exceptional promise.
hybrid
Our hybrid publishing option is budget-based, where authors invest in their book and receive guided support and professional production services, with optional add-on packages as needed.
Self Publish
Our Editorial Services through Ink by Omari include manuscript editing, formatting and illustration packages, and step-by-step support for authors publishing independently.
Publishing Criteria
WE ACCEPT fiction and non-fiction genres for readers of all ages. Priority is given to Muslim authors, but we welcome submissions from non-Muslims whose work aligns with our values.
WE DO NOT ACCEPT explicit sexual content, sympathetic portrayals of polytheism (unless within a clear redemptive narrative), positive depictions of witchcraft or the occult, or any anthropomorphic or otherwise inappropriate representations of God, angels, or Prophets that conflict with Islamic principles. Jinn stories will be considered on a case-to-case basis.
DEFINING DIVERSITY. We embrace diversity in culture, background, and perspective within the boundaries of orthodox Islamic values.
Guidelines
We accept completed manuscripts and proposed projects. All submissions must be made through our official intake form below.
Please ensure your document is double-spaced, in a readable 12-point font, with 1-inch margins and numbered pages.
We request that all submissions be exclusive and not under consideration by other publishers.
Response time is typically 4–8 weeks. We aim to provide thoughtful feedback on rejections, though this is not guaranteed due to submission volume. For full or solicited manuscripts, please follow up if you haven’t heard from us.
For indie and self-publishing authors, you may complete the submission form and attach at least one chapter to receive a sample edit and pricing quote based on total word count, or visit Ink by Omari for additional options.
